Why Home Elevation Is
Essential for Coastal Florida

Lifting your home isn't just about safety — it's one of the most financially sound decisions a Florida homeowner can make in today's climate.

See the full Home Elevation Cost Guide →

Plummeting Flood Insurance

Elevating your home above the Base Flood Elevation (BFE) can dramatically reduce your annual flood insurance premiums — often paying for the lift over time. Florida homeowners have seen savings of 40–80% on NFIP policies.

Storm Surge Protection

Hurricane season is a reality on the Gulf Coast. Elevating your home above projected surge levels protects your irreplaceable assets, memories, and family from catastrophic flood waters — the kind that devastated Sanibel and Fort Myers in 2022.

FEMA Code Compliance

Florida's 50% Rule requires that homes with substantial damage or improvements be brought into full FEMA compliance. We handle all permitting, engineering, and municipality coordination from Tampa to Naples.

Increased Property Value

An elevated, code-compliant home commands a significant premium in coastal Florida's real estate market. Buyers and insurers alike recognize the investment — and your home becomes far more attractive in any market condition.

Our Technology & Process

Our Structural Home
Elevation Process

We handle everything from engineering and permitting to the precision lift and new foundation — so you can focus on what matters most.

01
Phase 1

Engineering & Permitting

We handle all local Florida municipality coordination and FEMA paperwork from Tampa to Naples. Our structural engineers design the exact lifting plan tailored to your specific foundation type, soil conditions, and target elevation height.

Includes: Site assessment, soil analysis, structural engineering drawings, permit applications, FEMA elevation certificate coordination.

02
Phase 2

The Precision Hydraulic Lift

Our hydraulic lift equipment is engineered to raise your entire home simultaneously — every jack moving in perfect synchronization. Small, flat hydraulic jacks are placed on precision wood cribbing, distributing load evenly across your entire structure. No building is too large to lift.

Technology: Synchronized hydraulic lift equipment — scalable for any structure size. Engineered for Florida slab-on-grade and pier-and-beam construction.

Phase 3

The New Foundation

Once your home is at the target elevation, we construct a newer, immensely stronger, and fully code-compliant lower level. Whether piers, pilings, or reinforced concrete block, your new foundation is engineered to withstand the next major Gulf surge.

Options: Concrete piers, helical pilings, masonry block. All rebar-reinforced and engineered to Florida Building Code.

The New Foundation

After the Lift: Preferred Contractors

Once the lift is complete, utility reconnections, stairs, railings, and exterior finishes are handled by one of our Preferred Contractors — trusted professionals we work with to ensure seamless integration with your newly elevated property.
